Y2K
This is an older post that I've added a few things to:
In response to an EBF statement on X indicating 2033 will be Y2K a person asked:
"Actual Y2K coming ?? (Y2K)?"
EBF reply:
The Julian/Gregorian calendar is based on Jesus' birth year (A.D. anno dimini = year of our Lord) but its wrong on a couple of points:
1. It has no year zero
2. Jesus was born 7 yrs. B.C. You can see how even the label of "B.C." in the case of Christ's birth is incorrect. 7 BC should have been the year zero for the Julian/Gregorian calendars.
So, in reality the year 1994 was the 2,000th yr. since His birth (7 + 1994 = 2001 -1 due to no year zero =2000). The year 1994 was a highly significant year in God's end time program as it was the time when Christ officially began to carry out His role as Judge by judging all the world's churches (see 1 Peter 4:17).
The Lord died on the cross in 33 AD so 2033 will be 2000th yr. from His death. Therefore, Y2K (year 2000).
The year 2033 is the year that ought to make mankind to tremble as much Biblical evidence indicates it will bring the Lord Jesus' 40 (inclusive) year period of judging to a close-with an expected end of the world and a resurrection (like Christ's in 33 AD) of all the elect body of Christ.
