Christ Had to Take on a Human Nature (Hebrews 2:14)
Quote from FR Open Forum July 21, 2008:
"And also Hebrews 2.14. Hebrews 2.14.
There we read. "For as much as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil." Now, this is not speaking about the tableau. This is speaking about a principle, a principle that Christ had to take on a human nature in order to be our Savior. "Therefore, somehow before the foundation of the world, while he was still Christ, he had not risen from the grave at all, God had to give him a human nature." Just like he gave Adam a human nature when Adam was first created, that's not an impossible thing at all."
