Don't Stick Your Nose Into God's Salvation Time Table! But Into Judgment – That's Fine

Another old FR friend who has gone back from the truths the Lord graciously opened up to us has made a statement – the same statement he made years ago to me – and I told him this very thing then but apparently he disregarded it.

He likes to say, "One should not stick their noses into God's salvation plan".

Apparently it is quite fine to stick one's nose into God's judgment plan.

No problem at all with this man to contradict the Bible and say the sun is still shining at a time when God has darkened it (Matthew 24:29). And no problem at all to say rivers of gospel saving waters are still available at a time when God has dried up the river Euphrates (Revelation 16:12).

Further still, there's no problem with telling people the door is open-at a time when God has shut to the door (Genesis 7:16).

Yes, it’s all well to stick one's big (oops-let's be nice and I'll correct that to average size) nose into the judgment affairs of the God of the Bible. But whatever you do, don't you dare speak of God's salvation program.

He's basically saying, "no man can know the time table for the salvation program of God". Just as the churches teach "no man can know" the timing for the judgment of God.

Yet salvation and judgment are two sides of the same sword (Hebrews 4:12). If you learn the timing for the one (May 21, 2011) you have also learned the timing for the other (end of salvation) as God would not bring Judgment Day to pass while salvation was still possible.

And sadly, his teaching has the same impact as the church's teaching which is a vain attempt to ward off the wrath of God from this world.
