Strengthened with Strength!

Where does the Strength to Endure to the end come from? It comes from Christ – within:

Psalm 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

Compared to:

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

And,

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;

If Christ dwells in you – you have the strength of God. Does that mean I'll have great power and physical strength like Samson? Will I be able to lift up a car with ease? No. It’s not that kind of strength. It’s spiritual strength to do spiritual things. Such as keeping God's commandments.

See:

Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The truly saved will wait upon the Lord. And they will have their strength renewed (or changed). Their strength will be changed from themselves and their utter sinful weakness – to the strength and power of the Spirit of Christ which has entered into them through God's salvation.

What will this inner strength of Christ achieve? What mighty acts of power will be done? According to Isaiah 40:31, the renewal of their strength will grant them the ability to run instead of being weary; and to walk rather than faint.

That doesn't sound like much until we realize that God uses running and walking as spiritual types and figures of keeping His commandments.

Psalm 119:32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.

And,

2 John 6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

God's strength gives the elect child of God the ability to keep His commandments. To obey God's Word. There's no greater feat of strength than that.
