God So Loved "the Nations of Them Which Are Saved"
Nations, people, world, earth, are all synonyms (Isaiah 34:1).
Therefore nations are the same as the world.
There are two nations (saved and unsaved) see Genesis 25:23. Or we could say there are two worlds.
First nation is the unsaved (the world):
Luke 12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after:
Second nation is the saved (the elect):
Revelation 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it:
Therefore, when we read "God so loved the world" that He gave His only begotten Son, it is a reference to the "nations of them which are saved". Only the truly saved (the elect) were loved by God in a saving way.
