8 x 430 Years & then Deliverance
From the date of 1407 BC (the year Israel crossed the Jordan river to enter the promised land) until the year 2033 AD (the year much Biblical evidence points to as the time when God brings His elect people into the new earth which the promised land of Canaan typified-we find an interesting break down of the total number of years:
1407 BC + 2033 AD = 3,440 calendar years
3,440 = 8 x 430
430 is the total number of years that Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt:
Exodus 12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.
And Israel's deliverance from Egypt (a type and figure of this world) points to the great deliverance of God's elect people at the end of time.
The number 8 can also tie in with deliverance (8 souls on the ark) and the N.T. Sabbath day (1st day of the week /8th day of the week) and its spiritual meaning of pointing to the resurrection since Christ rose from the dead early Sunday morning.
This is rare:
2067 BC (Isaac is born) to 2029 AD = 4,096 calendar years
4,096 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 (2 to the 12th power)
I don't think I've seen a time path ever broken down with one number like this before.
It also breaks down by 4 (to the 6th power):
4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 = 4,096
And by 8:
8 x 8 x 8 x 8 = 4,096
