God is Sovereign Lord in All Matters Related to His Salvation Program
It's good for us to remember that God is Sovereign Lord in all matters related to His salvation program:
He is sovereign regarding whom He saved (Romans 9:15).
He is sovereign regarding where He saved (Deuteronomy 16:11-16)
He is sovereign regarding how He saved (Ephesians 2:8,9)
He is sovereign regarding when He saved (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Many dispute God's sovereignty when it comes to each of the points listed above. A few (the elect) though bow the knee to God as sovereign Lord in all these matters related to His salvation program.
