Use this Unexpected Down Time to Read the Bible!
Of all the things you hear people talking about doing now that they are at home and looking for things to occupy their time-you don't hear many say, "Now I have more time to spend seriously reading the Bible". And yet, that's the one activity that would benefit them most.
Isaiah 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read:
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
Read the Bible! Study the Bible! Meditate on the things the Bible says! And if you do, you may look back upon this strange down time as the best thing that ever happened to you.
