God's in Control of Climate & Viruses & Rulers & All Things
God is in control of climate and whatever changes there may be.
God is in control of all viruses.
God is in control of setting up kings (or presidents) and putting down kings (or presidents).
In fact, God is in control of all situations and circumstances that might possibly occur. In the case of God's elect people, God's control in all things gives us a tremendous sense of security and comfort-because we know that God orchestrates all things that happen in our lives for our benefit and for our good:
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Therefore, we do not fear and are able to have boldness even in the Day of Judgment itself:
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
