The Madness of the World & the Sanity God Brings His People

Ecclesiastes 9:3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

Look around the world today and what do you see? We see people speaking evil, constantly doing evil, and therefore showing the fullness of the evil that's in their hearts. Look around at the world today and what do you see? We see mischievous madness everywhere we look. Which is why Scriptures like the one above prove that the Bible is from the all knowing mouth of God. In its rebellion against God the world has gone mad. Thinking every wicked thing to be good and every good thing to be wicked. God's elect people have been just as insane and caught up in the madness of sin as everyone else; however, by God's grace they have experienced salvation out of the world's madness and have had their sanity restored by Christ:

Luke 8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.

33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.

34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.

35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
