Who Really Has a Narrow Mind?

The charge is often leveled by people of the world against the child of God who trusts implicitly in the things the Bible says, that they have a narrow minded view of things.

Narrow minds are by definition small minds. The definition of a narrow mind therefore fits that of finite man. Finite man is extremely limited in his ability to know and comprehend things.

The God of the Bible, however, is an infinite Being possessing an infinite mind. The Bible and the things it says (creation for example) are things that come forth from the most expansive mind possible.

Man centered (secular) doctrine such as evolution comes forth from small finite temporal minds. God centered doctrine (things found in the Bible) such as creation comes forth from the great and infinite mind of an eternal Being.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Mankind's arrogance is that he uplifts his tiny little finite mind over the mind of the One whose thoughts are vastly higher than his own. Which of course leads to ridiculous theories like evolution being accepted as though they were fact.
