Spiritual is the Highest Form of Being – The Lesser Form is the Physical
The real problem with the secularist is that he is extremely limited in his understanding to physical things. Anything that goes beyond the physical he denies exists.
The child of God possesses life in the physical realm as well as the secularist. But also has been given life in the spirit which grants him access and understanding to the spiritual realm. The great irony is, to use the language of the secularist, is that the child of God has as it were, evolved to a higher form of being. He has life in, and understanding of two plateaus of existence. The physical world around us. And an invisible spiritual realm that lies beyond this world. The spiritual is superior to the physical. We could look at this using the language of evolution regarding the survival of the fittest. The higher more advanced life form (the spiritual) wins out and continues on. While the lesser life form (the physical) ultimately becomes extinct. This present period of time can be viewed as the embryonic stage for the birth of a higher order of being. An eternal being with a new spiritual body will soon come forth. And all those possessing only physical life and physical understanding will cease to exist.
1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
